Maternity clothes

I consider myself to be fairly coordinated but when it comes to maternity shirts somehow I always manage to get a stain/mark on my shirts. I’m not sure if it’s b/c of my growing belly and I haven’t gotten used to the dimensions or is it that pregnant women are more clumsy or is it I’m crazy??? I wear normal shirts a lot more (except in the last 3 years) and never get anything on them. As soon as I put on a maternity shirt food and everything else seem to find their way on to my shirt…hmmm???? The question of the year:) Well that’s it. Now that I’ve written a blog with absolutely no purpose I’ll just leave it at that.

  1. Haha!  When I was putting away my maternity clothes after Aidan, I was noticing that most of my shirts are stained too!  How DOES it happen.  I often get things on my belly when working in the kitchen.  I lean against a counter and get ______ (fill in the blank) on my shirt!  I think that I tend to spill more too- all that I know is that my maternity wardrobe is a bit of a mess!  I think that I will need to replace a few things next time that I’m pregnant!

  2. OK- we are all doing great around here now so I look forward to maybe meeting you when you come up! I probably will just call Brietta to find out where you guys will be and just stop by to say hello. I probably won’t bring my kiddos just because we are still pretty polka-dotted with pox and I would hate to expose any of you! You will have Maygen with you, correct? Her photos are so precious…truly a gift from God!

  3. That was a running joke between Joe and I this pregnancy… If I had anywhere to go, I would plan ahead to not wear the clothing I wanted to wear to church or wherever until right before we left. Every once in a while I’d have a day with nothing on my shirt and then I’d take it off to put it in the laundry and find that there were stains under my belly where I couldn’t see. Ugh! (I’m saying amen to the Tide To Go!)

  4. I am always staining stuff…I never buy white shirts anymore because I always end up getting something on them and don’t realize until after I wash it and the stain is set in. So, are you guys going to find out the sex this time??? Any feelings on what it may be?

  5. Well, Shell that belly really sticks out 🙂 its bound to get things on it…. I remember Gramma Pat getting things on her chest cause they stuck out so much. it was a joke in the family.  You have a belly! Gramma  had boobs!!!!!!

  6. I would hound you for pictures of your belly, too, but I get to SEE YOU in 2 days!!! Yay! :)And you know I know exactly what this is like! Remember all the clothes we lent each other with the preface, “A lot of these shirts have stains on the belly…” Oh well! It’s an excuse for more maternity clothing shopping!
