For several days my contacts have been bothering me a routine that I experience every August. I called the eye doctor and went in to see him. He put me on eye drops and explained that I cant’ wear my contacts for a week. I have an apt next Tuesday to follow up. Now this wouldn’t be such a problem but my glasses are UGLY–no seriously I picked this pair out when I was in 10th grade. Yep, I was about 15 so that’s 12 years ago. So you can imagine that the style in 1993-1994 isn’t exactly stylish in 2006!!! Ahhh! Also the prescription is that old so it’s not really easy to see…Since I get this same infection almost every year next July they’re going to put me on drops to hopefully head off the allergy infection!?!?!?

It’s only August 2nd and this month is already shaping up to be a very busy month. Let’s see…Maygen has 7 doc apts ranging from weight checks to developmental checks to abdominal ultrasounds, eye checks etc. I have 2 doc apts. Maygen has 4 physical therapy apts and 3 nutrional apts and I have 2 WIC apts. So…we’re pretty busy.

Maygen did get a good report today at the Developmental follow up. She scored between 4.5 and 5 months of age. Perfect! She is right were she should be. The developmentalist said she was amazed how great she was doing considering how sick she was. They’re only concern was weight gain but after hearing that I’m working with 2 nutrionists they felt it was being taken care of.

Maygen is officially rolling over too. Yesterday she rolled 3 times on her own!!!
